Celebrating Levi

At Magnify of Central Florida, we believe everyone deserves the chance to unlock their potential—and Levi is living proof of that. Thanks to the incredible partnership between Magnify and the Friends of Deltona Library, Levi was able to step into the world of work with confidence, skills, and a sense of humor that’s as infectious as his spirit.

Levi’s journey began in Magnify’s On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, where he learned invaluable workplace skills—customer service, multi-tasking, and money management—while working hands-on at The Book Nest, the charming used bookstore operated by the Friends of Deltona Library. This partnership created the perfect setting for Levi to gain real-world experience in a supportive environment, preparing him for the next chapter of his life.

Bianca, Magnify’s employment specialist, couldn’t have been more excited to work with Levi. “Levi is a funny and quick-witted young man, and I had a blast working with him. Helping him gain more work experience was so rewarding,” she shared. Levi’s humor and sharp mind made him an absolute joy to mentor, and his eagerness to learn was inspiring.

After completing the OJT program, Levi didn’t just walk away with new skills—he became a valued volunteer at The Book Nest. April, a dedicated volunteer with the Friends of Deltona Library, has witnessed firsthand the impact Levi has made. "Having worked with Levi for several weeks, I found he was a quick learner and a great help.  His attention to detail was outstanding.  His rapport with customers was always friendly and helpful.  He will be an asset to anyone who hires him."

Levi’s transformation from a trainee to a volunteer is a true testament to the power of hard work, learning, and community support. The collaboration between Magnify and the Friends of Deltona Library has given Levi—and many others—the opportunity to develop new skills, gain meaningful experience, and contribute to the community. Levi’s journey is a reminder of what’s possible when we provide the tools and support needed for individuals with disabilities to thrive and shine.

Levi’s story is just the beginning. At Magnify of Central Florida, we’re thrilled to announce that we’re branching out throughout Volusia County—bringing our proven employment programs and community partnerships to even more individuals with disabilities.
