Direct Support Professional

A Direct Support Professional at Magnify plays a meaningful, hands-on role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.

In this role, you provide direct care and guidance to residents within our residential community, helping them build independence, confidence, and routines that support their overall well-being. This includes assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication support, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.

Beyond daily tasks, you are building relationships. You spend time getting to know each individual, encouraging their interests, supporting their goals, and helping them stay connected to their community. Whether it is sharing a meal, participating in activities, or offering encouragement throughout the day, your presence has a direct and lasting impact.

Each day is different. You may be helping someone get ready for the morning, supporting them through an outing, or simply being there to provide consistency and care. Your role is both practical and deeply personal.

This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and patient. It requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered support.

At its core, this role is about more than providing care. It is about being part of someone’s daily life, supporting their growth, and helping create a home where they feel valued, safe, and supported.

Villa Manager

A Villa Manager at Magnify plays a vital leadership role in creating a safe, supportive, and engaging home environment for individuals with disabilities living in our residential community.

In this role, you oversee the daily operations of our villas, ensuring each resident receives consistent, high-quality care and support. You lead and support a team of Direct Support Professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and accountability while fostering a positive and mission-driven culture within the home.

Your focus is both operational and relational. You help coordinate care plans, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. At the same time, you build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff, creating an environment where individuals feel valued, respected, and at home.

Each day brings a balance of structure and connection. You might be supporting staff through a shift change, checking in on residents’ well-being, coordinating appointments, or helping resolve challenges as they arise. You are a steady presence who ensures that the home runs smoothly while keeping the needs and dignity of each resident at the center.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, compassionate, and confident in leading others. It requires strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.

This role is about more than managing a home. It is about leading a team that helps individuals grow in independence, build relationships, and experience a true sense of belonging.

As an Employment Specialist, you’ll walk alongside individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they discover their strengths, gain independence, and find success in the workplace.

This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about employment, skilled in relationship-building, and energized by coaching and mentoring others. You’ll provide hands-on support in real work environments, collaborating with businesses, schools, families, and service partners to help clients achieve lasting employment outcomes. If you’re looking to make a direct and lasting impact in the lives of others, we’d love for you to join our mission-driven team.

Life Skills Instructor

A Life Skills Instructor at Magnify plays a hands-on role in helping individuals with disabilities build the skills they need to live more independently and confidently in their everyday lives.

In this role, you will lead engaging, real-world learning experiences that go far beyond the classroom. This includes teaching practical skills such as cooking, budgeting, communication, personal care, and community navigation. You’ll also support individuals as they participate in outings, volunteer projects, and social activities that strengthen their confidence and connection to the community.

Each day looks a little different. You might be guiding a group through a cooking lesson, supporting someone as they practice using public transportation, or facilitating activities that build teamwork and social skills. Throughout it all, you provide encouragement, structure, and personalized support tailored to each individual’s goals and abilities.

This position is ideal for someone who is patient, creative, and energized by working directly with people. It requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help others grow.

This role is about more than teaching skills. It is about empowering individuals to discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, and take greater ownership of their lives.

Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician at Magnify plays an essential role in ensuring our residential community remains safe, functional, and welcoming for the individuals we serve.

In this role, you are responsible for maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment across campus. This includes completing routine maintenance, addressing repair requests, and proactively identifying issues to ensure everything operates smoothly. From plumbing and electrical work to general repairs and upkeep, your work helps create an environment where residents feel comfortable and at home.

Each day brings a variety of tasks. You may be responding to a maintenance request in one of the villas, performing preventative maintenance, or supporting larger facility improvement projects. Your attention to detail and responsiveness help ensure that small issues do not become larger problems.

This role is also part of a larger mission. The quality of our environment directly impacts the quality of life for our residents. A well-maintained space supports safety, independence, and dignity, and your work plays a key part in that experience.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, resourceful, and takes pride in their work. It requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of care across the campus.
